Authentic English ambience. Real Italian coffee!!
Stopped for a pint and a bite to eat after a nearby mud run, was very welcoming and cosy. Shame the open fire was not lit but it wasn't all that cold. Bar girl was friendly and attentive.
Definitely not worth 95!The room was clean but really dated.We had to search for a way back in after the pub was closed and nothing was said about another entrance. Breakfast was none existant and nobody serving just everything stacked up in a cart. We definitely wont return.
I had a fantastic stay at the chequers whilst down for work. Beds comfy, clean rooms, absolutely brilliant food!!Lovely welcoming staff made me feel right at home. Tiffany behind the bar stood out particularly, nothing was to much to ask of her, brilliant service. They have a beautiful fire place, it was a shame it was so hot when I stayed. I would definitely stay again.
Extremely comfortable beds. Clean and welcoming Staff extremely helpful. Food Very good. Breakfast continental. Free but limited Safe parking outside on main road. Good option if going to Lingfield races. Or good base to explore local places of interest. Highly recommended
